Fishing, Outposts, Apps Lake
Apps Lake is a true gem of the north. Located 120 air miles north of our airbase, Apps Lake is a single cabin location featuring the best in walleye, northern pike, and lake trout fishing. Apps Lake is 14 miles long and very narrow with lots of islands and protective bays. A short portage over to Meddik Lake where boats, motors, and gas await will provide some of the best walleyes and norther pike fishing to be found. The walleye are both abundant and large with many three-to-five pounders caught each day. Meddik Lake is 15 miles long with countless islands, reefs and bays.
This outpost was newly remodeled and can accommodate up to eight people. The cabin features knotty pine throughout and a huge screened in porch where you can sit, relax, and still be protected from the elements. Apps Lake is a secluded lake and privacy is guaranteed. Your cabin is the only one on over 30 miles of wind-protected water.
