 A short portage will take you into Meddick Lake where 2 boats and motors wait for you, and the walleye fishing is prime. 3-5 lbs. walleye are common on Meddick Lake, and northern fishing is good too. Meddick Lake is 15 miles long full of islands and channels whereas Apps Lake is 14 miles long, and narrow- take your pick! Apps
Lake fly-in outpost was remodelled in the summer of 1999 and
can accommodate 8 people. The cabin features a screened in porch
so you can relax outside, and still be protected from the elements.
